A Special Request

KT asked me to draw a picture that she could donate for a block party raffle (see insert below). All the money from the raffle will be used to build a playground for kids with special needs. My picture kind of goes along with that theme and it looks really nice framed. KT liked it so much, she paid me $25! Thank you KT!!!!!

5 Tips On How To Survive The Heat Wave

1. Drink a lot of fluids
2. Play outside in the morning when it is cool
3. Eat cold things like popsicles and frozen fruit
4. Use fans and air conditioning
5. Try not to use appliances that heat up the house
too much

10th Annual French Creek Iron Tour

This past Sunday, My family and I did the 10th Annual French Creek Iron Tour ride. This is our 3rd year. It was a lot of fun! You can choose how many miles you want to do: 10, 18, 32, 50, 66, or 100. We did 32. We were going to do 50, but Daddy had to poop in the morning, so we didn't get there on time for the 50mile start time. Oh well, there's always next year! The ride was 60% uphills, 30% downhills, and 10% flat. And it was 90 degrees and very humid, so it was a really hard ride! The food was absolutely delicious though and I never thought Gatorade could taste so good! 


I'm lucky to have such great parents to sign me up for this race and I'm glad that this is one activity that we can do as a family!
