I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't mind getting "tricked" into learning while they are reading. You can also get the first book in this two-book series: The Kid Who Ran For President.
Aidan loved these two books. He had such a laugh! He thinks "The Kid Who Ran For President" was the best and funnier one of the two. You got to read "Hatchet" and "Brian's Winter" by Gary Paulsen. He wrote a series about a boy who got stranded in the Canadian wilderness and what he did to survive. Aidan thought they were awesome books and gave great tips on outdoor survival skills. Hope you will enjoy them too.
