It's the Saxophone Season

     Last week, on the day before Christmas Eve, I decided to play holiday songs on my sax just like last year. This year however, I am going to donate all the proceeds to Brookline Fire Company. 
    The original plan was to once again play in front of Starbucks, but they denied me this year :( , "Corporate Policy" or something like that. I ended up asking the very nice ladies at Lily Pulitzer, and the manager, Ms. Jill agreed immediately. Not only that, she was kind enough to bring out a bottle of water for me half way through along with a nice gift bag with an elephant bracelet inside. What a nice surprise! Thank you so much Ms. Jill. 
     Many passerbys seemed to enjoy the holiday songs, and after an hour of playing, and some VERY frozen fingers, I ended with a grand total of... (drumroll please)
