Six Flags Great Adventure

Last Thursday, my friend Keara and I went to Six Flags! It was awesome! Even the one hour drive was fun! Our tickets were two-park tickets, so we got to do the Six Flags Wild Safari. It was so much fun! Some animals were crossing the road right in front of us.  So we got to see them up close! My favorite animal was the tiger, even though the tigers at this safari didn't do anything.  I think Keara's favorite animal was the monkey because she likes monkeys and kept talking how cute the monkeys were. After the Safari, we went to the actual amusement park itself.

The first ride we went on was a mini roller coster called Blackbeard's Lost Treasure. It was fun but it was more for Daddy's speed since he hates roller coasters and he's afraid of heights! Another ride Keara and I liked was called the Tornado. My mom and dad were too chicken to ride it. It spun around and around so fast I couldn't lift my legs up!  I am glad Keara came and I had someone to ride with.

One of my favorite rides was called Skull Mountain.  Keara and I were scared at first, but it ended up being so much fun. Skull Mountain is a roller coaster that is in the dark! It’s so cool in the dark because you can't see where the roller coaster is going so the ride was totally unpredictable!

The one and only wet ride we went on was called Congo Rapids. We went on it twice. Keara and I got the lucky seats both times (lucky because we wanted to get wet and we got soaked). Another ride we went on twice was El Toro- a record breaking wooden roller coaster. We had to wait for 90 minutes in line but it was worth the wait! El Toro went up really high then it went STRAIGHT down!!!!! I closed my eyes when it went down. Then it would go up half the height of the first time then straight down again!! At the end I felt like throwing up. I'm glad I didn't though! It was exciting and scary at the same time.  It was so scary, I think Daddy cried a little!

After El Toro we went to lunch. Then my mom put some candles in a chocolate chip muffin and we sang Happy Birthday to Keara!  I think Keara was surprised.  Then we got back on some more rides.  We rode Tornado and Skull Mountain again. It was awesome!

We stayed at Six Flags for  more than 13 hours. I had the best time with Doggy, Keara, Mommy and Daddy at Six Flags! I can't wait to go back and ride more rides (like Nitro, Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, etc.) when I'm a bit taller!

  1. You are brave! I am glad you didn't throw up after El Toro. There is no way I am going up ANY roller coasters. I will definitely throw up :) Aidan feels it is more fun going to the amusement park with a friend too. Maybe Aidan and you can go to one together.

  2. AuntieA, we SHOULD go camping and to an amusement park next year. I should be taller and be able to get on more rides by then.
