YMCA Donor Reception

On Wednesday, my Mom, my Dad, and I went to the YMCA donor reception for the people that made donations to the YMCA. Mommy & Daddy were not going to go but decided to at the last minute.  I joined them after my swim practice.  When I looked across the room, I was pleasantly surprised to see my 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Morett! She only taught in our class for 3 months, then she went to a different school, so I haven't seen her in a while.  I had a nice time chatting with Ms. Morett and meeting her mom and dad. They seem like really nice folks! They even gave me their $15 gift certificate to Thunderbird! There was refreshment at the reception and I tried a cream soda for the first time, it was awesome! I hope I get to see Ms. Morett again soon!
