This past Saturday, our team had our championship meet. Less than half the swimmers on the team are chosen to be in champs, so I'm lucky to even be in this meet! At the break, my swim team received a trophy for being the B division champs (We won all 4 of our swim meets). I did pretty well, but I didn't make it to the Meet of Champs:( The Meet of Champs is a meet that you can only go to if you get 1st or 2nd in your event. I did get 3rd twice though (So close! :( ). Congrats to everybody on my swim team who made it to Meet of Champs!
After the meet, Mommy and Daddy surprised me by taking me to Piercing Pagoda to get my ears pierced. They said it was for having such an awesome swim season. Actually, it wasn't much of a surprise, because Daddy couldn't keep a secret while we were in the car, so I suspected something for a while. I would definitely recommend Piercing Pagoda. They are clean, and the people there are very nice. I ended up getting the wrong earrings, because a box was labeled wrong, but that's ok, because I kind of like this color better.
Thank you coaches for a great season, and thank you Mommy and Daddy for taking me to meets, practices, and letting me get my ears pierced!
