CC and Doggy's Spring Break Adventure - Part 1

Over Spring Break, I went to the happiest place on earth! No, not a candy store, Disneyland! Before going to Disneyland, we visited some close family friends. On the day of the trip, we had to wake up at 5:30, but that's alright since Virgin America is an awesome airline! Everybody gets their own TV, so I was watching Disney Channel for the entire trip! After we arrived at LAX, it was time to go get our rental car.  We had to wait for nearly an hour to get our car, even after my dad had made reservations online. I was really bored, but the worst part was that Mommy wouldn’t even let me visit the souvenir shop at Hertz (the rental place)!

When we finally got our car, we went to visit some old friends: Mr., Mrs., and Grandma Liang. Grandma Liang treated us to a delicious lunch at Seafood Village. This restaurant literally has the best crab you will ever taste! When I say ever, I mean EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After saying goodbye to the Liangs, we went to visit another close friend, Maria (A.K.A. Moshria). Moshria knew I would be missing the Easter egg hunt back home, so she hid a bunch of cute Easter eggs full of candy around her apartment just for me! Moshria even made me a special Easter basket complete with: candy, Disneyland pins, candy, and more candy! Thank you Moshria! That night, Moshria took us on a tour of Los Angeles as our own personal "chauffeur". When it was time to go to bed, Moshria was so nice, she gave us her bedroom and slept on the couch. The next morning, we went to Venice Canal and Muscle Beach. Soon after, she took us to meet her boyfriend (oooooohh!!!), James, and check out his boat. I had fun playing with his daughter, Mina.

After leaving Moshria’s, we headed on a 3 hour drive up to San Luis Obispo, to see my “Auntie” Karen.  I’m named after her, so it’s cool because we have so much in common! The next day, we decided to go stand up paddle boarding. Stand up paddle boarding is kind of like surfing, only you have a paddle. We paddled to this beachlike area, and I found a real live Sand dollar! Stand up paddle boarding was not only super fun, but my dad took this hilarious video of my mom wiping off her board! If you listen carefully, you can even hear the Sea Lions laughing at her in the background! J Don't forget to check out the videos below.

After paddle boarding, we took a walk around the shops in Morro Bay. There was this one store called the Shell Shop, and it was so cool! Auntie Karen even got me this adorable turtle made completely out of seashells as a souvenir! I named him Sheldon.J Then, Auntie Karen treated us all to lunch at Giovanni’s, where I got to try a churro for the first time! It was soooooo goooood. J Later that day, Auntie Karen took us to this awesome sea cave by the Pacific Ocean to look for seashells! We found seashells, sea glass, pretty pebbles, and even some Chiton backbones! After that, we headed back with a bag full of treasures! I had fun playing with Auntie Karen’s cat, Muffin, but I don’t think the feeling was mutual. L The next day, we woke up early to head for Anaheim, CA- Disneyland!

A huge THANK YOU to The Liang Family, Maria, and Auntie Karen for being such great hosts. You all really made our trip extra special!
