SAXAPHONE

Guess what everybody? I'm learning the alto saxophone as my second instrument! I will still be playing French horn, but I love the sound the sax makes, so I decided to give it a try. So far, I have had 2 weeks of lessons with my "retired" music teacher from my elementary school, Mr. Peters. If you read my previous posts, you would know what a great music teacher he is!

Below are links to a song written by Mr. Peters himself, called Neon Notes. The first link is me playing on the sax, along with a musical accompaniment, the second one is me on the french horn and sax along with a musical accompaniment, and the third is me playing the sax for both parts: harmony & melody, along with a musical accompaniment. I did everything using Garageband, and Mr. Peters created the musical accompaniments.  Enjoy!

Thank you Mr. Peters for allowing me to use your original music!

Now that Mr. Peters is retired, he has started selling his own recorder songs on his site. These songs can be played on many instruments other than the recorder. If you like what you hear from Neon Notes, check out his site:

  1. Great job! You must had lots of fun working on these recordings. Garageband is such a fun app. Aidan uses it with his teacher too. I am so glad you are having such fun with the sax and french horn!
