In fact, I have had so much fun playing the sax, I have decided to buy one once the rental trial period is over (mid June). As mentioned in a previous post, I was initially going to buy a silver saxophone because it is unique. However, during a recent competition when I won an award for the best soloist out of my school (YAY!!!), I realized how trustworthy my golden saxophone is and how it has never squeaked, or stopped playing when I needed it most. On top of that, my rental sax was brand new when I got it, so I am the only one to ever use it. After reading how much work it takes to clean a silver sax, I decided that I am going to buy the sax I am currently using. Both my grandmothers have "donated" to my sax fund, and my parents have agreed to pay half.
Thank you so much, Mama, Nana, Mommy, and Daddy!
Congrats! So happy for u! I will be happy to donate to your fund too if u r still short :) Hard work deserves to be rewarded! So proud of u!!!
