It's the End of the Sport as We Know it

     Last, last week (or two weeks ago, as my boring mother likes to call it) I competed in my very last Karakung 
kids Triathlon (next year I'll be too old). *Wipes away tear* I managed to snag 3rd place, which was great because I can officially say that I have placed every year since I first began participating in this race (age 7). Whoo hoo!

We got a fantastic gift for the event's 10th anniversary.

     In addition to that fun weekend, last week, my swim team hosted the A Division Delco League Championship. And guess who has two thumbs and designed the cover of the program?

Coach Alex asked me to and I was happy to oblige. Part of the drawing was based off the Champs T-shirt design, but the comic is an original:

The meet was abuzz with excitement and we got tons of compliments on how great the pool looked and how friendly our volunteers were. It was amazing seeing everyone, parents and kids alike coming together to help make the pool boo-ti-ful! Our pool was completely transformed. Daddy even came early in the morning on the big day to help set up/direct parking traffic, and Mommy worked all day helping out at the snack bar. Overall, the meet was a huge success and a great end to a fantastic season! :D
